Clearway Terms of Use
Service
Clearway is a personal driving-exploration, history, and reporting service. It is not turn-by-turn navigation, emergency, safety, legal, or driving advice. Do not interact with the app while driving; traffic laws and road conditions always take priority.
Accounts and content
You are responsible for lawful use of your account, username, notes, vehicle details, and social features. The global feed is readable with a Clearway device account; publishing, liking, and commenting require a verified Apple or Google identity, a username, and acceptance of the current Community Guidelines.
Publishing a drive makes its complete derived route and public statistics visible globally. Clearway shows this disclosure before every post and does not crop or hide the route. Do not publish a route you do not have the right to share. Do not post threats, harassment, unlawful material, links, contact details, spam, or attempts to evade moderation.
Users can report content and block users. Clearway may remove content, issue warnings, suspend social access, preserve necessary safety records, and review appeals. These controls do not replace your responsibility for what you choose to publish.
Premium subscriptions
Premium unlocks the features described on the purchase screen. The displayed price, billing period, and any trial terms apply. Auto-renewable subscriptions continue until cancelled in App Store account settings. Deleting a Clearway account does not cancel an App Store subscription. Apple handles billing, cancellation, and eligible refund requests.
Exploration tokens
Exploration tokens are consumable digital items used only inside Clearway. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred or redeemed for money, and do not expire while the related account remains available. The amount and localized price shown on the purchase screen apply. Apple processes billing and eligible refund requests; a refunded purchase may remove the corresponding token amount from the account balance.
Availability and third parties
Maps, route matching, synchronization, and purchases may depend on network access and third-party services including Mapbox, RevenueCat, Apple, and Google. Features may change when required for security, law, platform policy, or service reliability.
